Siemens IT Solutions and Services has been awarded a
framework contract by NHS Connecting for Health, on
behalf of the NHS. This enables Siemens to compete
for a range of services under a number of Service
Categories including Consultancy, non-clinical ICT
Application, Communications and Network Services,

The contract, one
of a number awarded, will enable the streamlined
procurement of IT systems and services from suppliers
who have demonstrated experience in the health sector
and can be used to support both National Programme for
IT (NPfIT) related work and wider IT related projects.
Matt Key, Head of
Public Sector Sales at Siemens IT Solutions and Services
said "Siemens has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in
the provision of healthcare systems and services, and we
will be able to bring this to bear in the services
provided through the ASCC framework.”
